Who is José Schulman, the MILITANT K who attacked a… / Argentina News

José Ernesto Schulman, a Kirchnerist militant and President of the Argentine League for Human Rights, insulted and beat an employee of the bus terminal in the Buenos Aires town of Santa Clara because a bus arrived late. Everything was recorded by local cameras. Shulman is a leader linked to Kirchnerism who had already carried out other violent acts before the public gaze.

Defender of the freedom of Milagro Sala, the leader of the Tupac Amaru organization who was sentenced to 13 years in prison for fraudulent administration and other crimes, and of the intervention of Cristina Caamaño at the head of the Federal Intelligence Agency (AFI), Schulman was also the protagonist in 2018 of an outburst that was addressed to then President Mauricio Macri.

That year, during the day’s march for Memory, Truth and Justice in commemoration of the 42nd anniversary of the 1976 Coup d’Estates, he had issued a strong speech against the Government and had even directed several insults, from the stage, towards Macri. He called him “garbage” and “accomplice of the dictatorship.”

Schulman was a victim of crimes against humanity

On that occasion, José Schulman had been one of the first to speak and attacked the head of state directly. “Macri, garbage, you are the dictatorship,” he sang from the official stage of the act, with members of Mothers and Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo in the background.

On the other hand, regarding the support for Caamaño, Schulam stressed that the head of the AFI “interrupted a series of perverse logics of espionage and persecution and also brought to light some of the files that were recovered.” In addition, Schulman described the intervention of the AFI as “the most important contribution of the government of President Alberto Fernández to the fight” against what he called “the basements and sewers of democracy.”

Leader K was also part of those who called the march against the members of the Supreme Court, which took place on February 1. From his Facebook account, he explained that this mobilization was carried out with the aim of proposing “an anti-imperialist view of lawfare and the highest court.”

In another of his recent political interventions, he repudiated what he considers “anti-democratic actions of the macrista judicial tables” and expressed that “the images seen in the ‘GestaPRO’ video are one more example of everything that we have been denouncing in Justice 5 years ago”.

In this framework, he appeared at the headquarters of the PJ La Plata to start the campaign of “Trial and punishment of the GestaPRO macrista” since in that city – as he explained – “many people who opposed the adjustment model were illegally persecuted macrista and it is seen that they bothered”.

Who is Jose Schulman?

Schulman was a victim of crimes against humanity. Between 1975 and 1977 he suffered a terrorist attack, kidnappings, arrests, torture and mock executions, according to his own testimony.

In the different accounts on the social networks of the Argentine League for Human Rights, and in the personal ones, you can see images of the leader K posing next to quotes from the Indian leader Mahatma Ghandi and with pictures of the communist revolutionary Ernesto “Che” Guevara.

He is also seen embracing with members of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, Milagro Sala and two of the founders of the Soberanxs political party, from the hard wing of Kirchnerism: the former ambassador to Venezuela, Alicia Castro; and former Vice President Amado Boudou.

“Son of a bitch, what are you laughing at?” Schulman asked.

The figure of Schulman gained notoriety this weekend when a video went viral on the networks where he is seen arguing and questioning an employee of the Ruta Atlántica company because the bus he was waiting for was delayed more than he had been informed.

“What are you laughing at, asshole,” Schulman rebuked the worker while the woman just listened to him and asked him to calm down. Visibly angry with her, the president of the Argentine League for Human Rights hit her on the head with her left hand and yelled at her again: “Son of a bitch, what are you laughing at?”

While a man from the company entered the office to mediate the attack, Schulman tried to justify his mistreatment by pointing out: “This asshole has been laughing my ass off for three hours that the group is coming!”

After the media coverage of the event, the man apologized on social networks. The curious thing is that he did not address the victim but her “companions” K and said that he was “dislodged” because they kept him waiting for many hours and he is “motor disabled.” However, in the networks he is shown on top of a bicycle.

To close, he stated that he was “repentant” for what he did, speaking of “actions contrary to his convictions”, and said that he made the latter known to the worker he attacked.
