The United States recorded 1,514 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to a Johns Hopkins University count released at 8:30 p.m. Sunday (00h30 GMT Monday).
The number of fatalities was less than that of the previous day, when 1,920 lost their lives. The outbreak has claimed the lives of at least 22,020 people in the US, the highest number recorded worldwide.
