Trama Emprendedora provides a work space for more than 34 women. It arises from a municipal program to strengthen and professionalize social economy ventures with a gender perspective.
The formation of the cooperative was achieved thanks to the support of Matías Chamorro, who chairs the Social Economy, Cooperatives and Mutuals Commission of the legislature. “We have the support of the provincial government, which opened the doors for us so that this work can be formalized and have an important future,” said Llamosas. And he added: “Trama Emprendedora is a really important program in management, transforming that began in a very difficult context and today it is consolidated and does not stop growing.”
“For us, this experience in Río Cuarto is successful since it highlights the fact that the social economy model, the cooperative and mutual model, has great potential to generate employment, dignity and economic dynamics in the localities,” Chamorro declared.
Along the same lines, the Secretary for Gender Ana Medina assured: “Today we managed to realize one of the dreams that has to do with the work cooperative with an entrepreneurial plot.”
Finally, Germán Di Bella maintained that the house of Trama began with a Participatory Budget Project and became a reality in conjunction with the Gender Secretariat and the Economic Development Secretariat. “It is a physical space where 34 women work in double shifts,” added the secretary.
