The Excellence network brings its experience in innovation and competitiveness to Córdoba

Innovation and competitiveness are among the main axes that today cross the agenda of the entire production chain, which is also challenged by the ups and downs of the macroeconomic context (local and international) and by the incidence of digital transformation.

It is no coincidence, then, that the Excellence network has chosen these topics to bring to Córdoba a conference that aims to delve into management models oriented towards these objectives, with a focus on small and medium-sized companies.

In the Excellence space, the Business Foundation for Quality and Excellence (Fundece), the Argentine Professional Institute for Quality and Excellence (Ipace) and the National Quality Award Foundation come together and interact.

Its purpose is to stimulate companies, especially the entire SME framework, so that they adopt management systems or models oriented towards change, innovation and continuous improvement, and that this becomes a kind of bridge between the available talent and the results that are sought.

This year, within the framework of its Sharing Excellence program, the network aims to hold events in different provinces, and Córdoba is the first stop.

The activity will take place on Thursday, March 30, starting at 8:00 a.m., in the Yellow Pavilion of the Fair Complex, with an agenda that includes exhibitions, panels, and dynamic practical workshops for managing competitiveness through quality, innovation, and the transformation of companies and organizations.

Diary

The opening of the meeting will be in charge of Jorge Ferreiro, executive director of Excelencia, and the provincial secretary of New Technologies and Knowledge Economy, Federico Sedevich.

Later, Marcelo Elizondo –head of the consultancy DNI-International Business Development and specialist in foreign trade– will address the new conditions for international competitiveness.

Subsequently, there will be two panels. The first aims to show innovation experiences to improve competitiveness, with the participation of Marcelo Bechara (Evoltis Group), Rosana Cordero (Esteban Cordero SRL) and Javier Viqueira (Adox).

In the second, meanwhile, the articulation with the public and academic sectors will be addressed, always under the umbrella of innovation. The space will be shared by Pablo De Chiara (Minister of Science and Technology of Córdoba), Jhon Boretto (Rector of the National University of Córdoba), María Belén Mendé (Rector of the 21st Century University) and Juan Cruz Molina (Director of the Regional Center Cordoba del Inta).

Both activities will be moderated by journalist Daniel Alonso, from The voicewho will then hold a dialogue with the CEO of Toyota Argentina, Gustavo Salinas, to talk about strategy, value network and the future of mobility.

Finally, Jorge Luna, member of the Council of Excellence, will close the first part of the day, which will continue after noon with a workshop dynamic.

This last activity aims to promote management models and tools to favor the value chain, with experience exchange tables that will focus on innovation, digital transformation and value networks for the development of SMEs.
