The co-pilot of the medical plane that crashed in Esquel died

Co-pilot died of the medical airplane who crashed this Tuesday night in Esquel. Then, in 2012, he graduated as a Commercial First Class Airplane Pilot from the Institute of Aeronautical Education and, for six years, worked as a teacher at the Fly Tango flight school, until in 2018 began working as co-pilot for the MD Fly sanitation aerovacuation company, with which he had the accident.

The doctor was also traveling on the plane Federico Bassi, 44, who has worked for years in this company for medical air transfers. Furthermore, he was a cardiologist at a private clinic in Quilmes and had worked for more than 10 years at the Argerich hospital.

Between 2013 and 2018 he was part of the organizations Médicos Sin Fronteras and Save the Children and he carried out tasks in areas such as Haiti, the Central African Republic, Niger, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I have been working for MD Fly since 2008.

The investigation of the accident was left to the federal judge Guido Otranto and the Airport Security Police, in charge of José Glinski, intervenes in the case.
