The Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) extends until June 30, 2020 the suspension of embargoes to micro, small and medium-sized companies.

The decision extends for two months the period provided previously in the regulations.

The measure aims to cushion the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic on economic activity.

Around 1 million companies that have the Mipyme Certificate will be reached by the suspension of measures
precautionary.

General Resolution 4705 is published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette.

Tax fair

The Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) The tax fair was extended until May 10, inclusive.

During the validity of the preventive and compulsory social isolation, extended by the national government, the suspension of the calculation of the terms in force for the taxpayers in different administrative procedures will be maintained. The measure such as ex officio determinations, summaries, fines, discharges, closings, payment intimations and inspection requirements, among others.

The decision does not imply any modification or extension of the tax due dates.

A fiscal fair consists of the extension of all procedural terms in tax, customs and social security matters. Throughout the period defined in General Resolution 4703/2020 to be published in the Official Gazette, the actions of the AFIP are not suspended. However, during its validity, the calculation of the deadlines that govern the taxpayers’ response to the requirements of the agency is suspended.

With the aim of cushioning the effects of preventive and compulsory social isolation on small taxpayers, the AFIP ordered the suspension of the exclusions of monotributistas corresponding to April. The measure extends to the current month the decision that defined not to carry out the systemic crossings during March.

Through General Resolution 4704/2020, the body also established that no monotributista will be discharged ex officio from the regime for failure to pay their obligations during April. Both decisions that will benefit the more than 3,600,000 taxpayers enrolled in the Simplified Regime for Small Taxpayers.
