Saudi Arabia, Russia committed to crude market stability: statement

DUBAI, May 13 (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia and Russia are firmly committed to achieving oil market stability and accelerating market rebalancing, energy ministers from the two countries said in a joint statement on Wednesday.

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and his Russian counterpart Alexander Novak had a telephone conversation as part of their continuing consultations on the evolution of the oil market, according to the statement.

“We are satisfied with recent signs of improvements in economic and market indicators, especially the growth in oil demand and the easing of concerns about storage limits,” the ministers said. (Report by Rania El Gamal; Edited in Spanish by Janisse Huambachano)
