Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter to make wedding more austere due to coronavirus


LONDON, Mar 18 (Reuters) – Princess Beatrix, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, will perform a more austere wedding and canceled a reception that she would celebrate in the gardens of Buckingham Palace in May due to the coronavirus, the Daily Telegraph newspaper reported.

Beatrice is planning to marry her fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, at London’s St James’s Palace on May 29, and the Queen planned to offer a private reception on the grounds of Buckingham Palace.
