A special meeting to address a possible cut in oil production from OPEC and from allies like Russia, scheduled for Monday, was postponed until next Thursday, the Azerbaijani energy ministry reported on Saturday.
“The meeting has been postponed until April 9,” ministry spokeswoman Zamina Aliyeva told AFP. “OPEC has informed us of the postponement. We do not know the reasons,” he said, referring to the meeting, which was to be by videoconference.
