Murillo Karam returned to the North Prison after a week in Torre Médica

The former Attorney General of the Republic (PGR), Jesus Murillo Karam was re-admitted to North Prison After a week of being hospitalized in the medical tower from the Tepepan Reintegration Center due to hypertension problems.

Murillo Karam entered on March 17 after showing complications announced days before by his defense and family, who have shown their disagreement with the authorities for the low priority they have given to the suffering of the former official prosecuted for the case of the 43 normalistas from Ayotzinapa.

It was around 1:00 p.m. this Friday that the former attorney general was transferred back to the prison by elements of the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) From Mexico City.

Murillo Karam has been detained since August 19, 2022, when he was leaving his home in Lomas de Chapultepec for the crimes of forced disappearance, torture and crimes against the administration of justice on the Ayotzinapa case.
