Meteorological alert for rain and hail in Mar del Plata, Pinamar and Villa Gesell

As of this Wednesday, a Weather alert on the Atlantic Coast by strong storms and possible hail fall. Also, continue the yellow alert for heat wave in the City of Buenos Aires and its surroundings, while in Mendoza an orange alert was declared due to high temperatures.

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued an alert for heavy rains, gusts of wind and occasional hail for the towns of Pinamar, Villa Gesell and the seaside resorts of the La Costa district.

According to the SMN report, storms will begin to develop starting this morning in the General Lavalle, General Madariaga, Pinamar, Villa Gesell and the Partido de la Costawhich includes the cities of San Clemente del Tuyú, Las Toninas, Costa Chica, Santa Teresita, Mar del Tuyú, Costa del Este, Aguas Verdes, La Lucila del Mar, Costa Azul, San Bernardo, Mar de Ajó, Nueva Atlantis, Punta Médanos Pinar del Sol, and the Costa Esmeralda spa.

In relation to the heat wave, the SMN maintains the yellow alert for the City of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires suburbs, with temperatures that will have a minimum of 25° and a maximum of 35°. In the afternoon, there chances of rain, which would bring a drop in temperature to 28° at night. The heat continues on Friday. A minimum temperature of 25° and a maximum of 36° is forecast.
