Maratea spoke about the accusation of the IGJ against the Independiente trust: “We presented ourselves of good will”

The influencer maintained that there are no irregularities in the collection that seeks to help the club

This Wednesday the General Inspectorate of Justice (IGJ) declared “ineffective and irregular” the registration of the trust Santiago Maratea, which aims to raise funds to help Independiente de Avellaneda, and announced that it would claim the appointment of a controller controller before the Court. However, some time later the influencer explained what happened and clarified that it was a simple delay in the delivery of documents that had already been resolved.

The agency had questioned Independiente’s decision to register the trust in the province of Neuquén and not in the City of Buenos Aires, according to the Télam agency that had access to the opinion: “The registration attempted in the related and foreign provincial headquarters does not comply with none of the legal precautions, nor with the purpose pursued by the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation for the case of the Trust Agreement”.

On his Instagram account, Maratea explained what happened and pointed out those who publish false news: “They are saying that the trust is shady and that surely Santi Maratea is a drug trafficker and launders money. They do not read what the IGJ sent. I tell you why you guys look like idiots. Don’t even read what they’re talking about.” In this sense, he added: “We show the trust to the IGJ although I do not live in the Capital, Pepe (Santoro) does not live in the Capital, Diego, the fan who is part of the trust, does not live in the Capital. The trust was made in Neuquén and Independiente is not in Capital and América, which is the first creditor, is from Mexico. There is nothing that binds the trust to Capital, therefore we should not register the trust with the IGJ. However, we presented ourselves in good will.”

In a series of Instagram videos, the influencer was categorical: “When we introduced ourselves, what they told us was, ‘Since Santi lives in the Capital, why didn’t he register the trust with IGJ?’ Our answer was. ‘Santi does not live in the Capital’. Short. They told us, ‘Last year Santi registered the foundation with the IGJ.’ Our answer was, ‘Yes, because last year I lived in the Capital, but now I’ve moved to the Province.’ End”.

At this point, he was clear when indicating that although they had no obligation, they decided to submit all the necessary documentation to the agency to avoid further inconvenience and seek to give greater transparency to the initiative that seeks to help Independiente financially, a club submerged in a deep crisis. . The IGJ then gave them time until May 29 to deliver all the papers and that’s where the problem arose: “We didn’t file it because we were late, that’s true, we were late drafting the addendum that goes with the trust in the registration and we filed it Today, the 31st. Those two days of delay are ‘the irregularity’ that has already been corrected because it has already been presented. At one in the afternoon we received the email about the irregularity and at 1:15 the email arrived stating that it had already been filed”.

The collection has already exceeded 815 million pesos (close to USD 3.5 million at the official value) and it is expected that in the coming days it will reach 900 million. If supporters who contribute manage to reach just over 1300 million pesosthe debt to America that today maintains the coffers will be paid red in suspense.
