The Spanish Queen knows very well the meaning behind the choice of her outfits. On his official visit to Sweden together with Don Felipe, he is making it clear, once again, that he is still an icon of style and that he attends to trends, but also that he knows where he is, and that is why at the gala dinner they offered this night the kings Carlos Gustavo and Silvia have chosen a look loaded with meaning.
It is a night model of the signature ‘low cost’ H&M, which had already been worn on another occasion by Princess Victoria of Sweden. It is a midnight blue tulle dress, with a flared skirt and transparencies, and, what is better, of the sustainable line of the Swedish brand, H&M Conscious.
Thus, it is made with dyed recycled polyester and costs 300 euros.
While Doña Letizia wore it sleeveless, Victoria had added three transparent quarters to it. The sovereign of Spain accompanied the dress with the superb Flor de Lis tiara, the most important of the Bourbon jeweler. She also wore diamond earrings, Cartier bracelets, her inseparable gold Karen Hallam ring and a brooch of the same flower holding the band.
For the exterior he chose a black fur coat and showed a golden envelope from Magrit.
