how is the extension of installments of payment plans

The measure of the entity favors about 200,000 taxpayers and supposes a fiscal cost for the Province of 2,000 million pesos

The Collection Agency of the province of Buenos Aires (ARBA) resolved to extend until June 10 the maturities of installments or advances of payment plans that operated in April, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Those for May, meanwhile, were rescheduled for July and so on with the rest of the maturities.

The announcement was made by the agency’s executive director, Cristian Girard, on his Twitter account, in which he stated that “by virtue of the economic difficulties we are experiencing in this unprecedented context, we decided to give two months of grace to taxpayers who have embraced a payment plan. “

“The measure reaches 200,000 taxpayers and supposes a fiscal cost for the Province of $ 2,000 million”, posted @cristiangirard, who stressed that “this decision is in line with the policies that we have been implementing from the provincial government, because we know the economic difficulties that our SMEs, businesses and independent professionals are going through.”

From the extension, the installments or advances that were due tomorrow were rescheduled for June, those for May for July and, in a similar way, the rest.

Similarly, for new plans that are signed from now until May 31, the advance or first installment will only expire on June 10.

The extension of quotas and advances of payment plans is added to other relief measures, such as the suspension of embargoes to debtors and the rescheduling of maturities of Gross Income and Real Estate.

With all those actions launched in recent weeks, the Province has already favored a group of 3,500,000 Buenos Aires households, which in terms of resources constitutes a fiscal effort of $ 3,350 million.
