Ecogas results showed a slight increase

Distribuidora Gas Cuyana, concessionaire of natural gas services in Córdoba through Ecogas, achieved a slight improvement last year in its results.

According to the announcement that he presented to the National Securities Commission (CNV), he recorded in 2019 earnings of 1,249.7 million pesos.

This means an advance of 4.1 percent compared to the positive result it achieved in 2018, which reached 1,198.2 million pesos.

Ecogas is among the companies that, between January and February last, asked the Minister of Productive Development, Matías Kulfas, for a revision of natural gas tariffs since, they assure, 80 percent of their income is used to pay salaries and to support network maintenance. This ends up relegating financial commitments and the expansion of the natural gas network.
