The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Wednesday that 248 people were already infected with coronavirus and they recovered in Argentina.
The data was delivered by the Secretary of Access to Health, Carla Vizzotti, who explained that 218 people were discharged temporarily and 30 permanently.
Of the 1054 confirmed cases in the country, 57% correspond to men, while 43 percent to women. The report indicates that the average age of the infected is 45 years and that the main age group affected is between 20 and 59 years old.
In this sense, the Health authorities explained that 50.2% of infections are related to trips abroad, that is, they are imported cases.
Until this Wednesday, 27 deaths in the country are registered by Covid-19 and 55 people are admitted to intensive care.
Since the tests began in Argentina, the number of those discarded – by laboratory and clinical / epidemiological criteria – is 3877.
