Coronavirus in Argentina | Two bowling alleys closed in the City for breaching the prevention decree


The City Police closed two bowling alleys for not complying with the decree issued by the City Government related to the coronavirus pandemic.

The closings were carried out on Friday night by the Government Control Agency and the Ministry of Justice and Security of the City of Buenos Aires, together with the City Police and the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The authorities made more than a hundred inspections and, in addition to the closings, four minutes were drawn up, although it was recorded that the vast majority of the premises complied with the regulations related to the subject.

One of the closed premises was the bowling Ivanoff, located at Rivadavia avenue at 7500, in Flores. It was open to the public despite the ban on activities “in all establishments registered under the local class C dance category.”

The other closed venue was the Carnal bar, in Niceto Vega 5500, since it exceeded the capacity of 200 people.

Decree 140/2020 issued by the City Government, related to the coronavirus pandemic, establishes “the suspension of any event, meeting or event of an eventual, artistic, musical or festive nature more than two hundred people. “

In addition, it determines the restriction in the occupation capacity in a fifty percent for all the activities that are carried out in temples, theaters, cinemas, game rooms and cultural centers of private management. Also the suspension in all establishments registered under the heading “Class C dance venue”.
