Coronavirus in Argentina | They again enabled the exceptional permit for stranded in the country

The Government enabled this Friday the permit outstanding circulation for people who are still stranded within the country due to mandatory and preventive isolation in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

Due to the significant number of requests and the administrative flaws detected in the first attempt, the Executive approved a new procedure, which was published in the Official Gazette through Joint Resolution 3/2020.

Authorizations for all who want to return home will be available from May 5 and will be valid for 96 hours. In the case of granting false information in the sworn statements, those responsible will be sanctioned and may be criminally denounced for committing a crime of public action.

The document, signed by the transport ministers, Mario Meoni, and the Interior, Eduardo “Wado” by Pedro, clarifies that those interested must travel “for only this time”, in “Private vehicles”.

Each province, like the City, “Will open and manage a record” where they will find the resident citizens of each district who are serving isolation in another region and want to return.

These people “must register” in the registry that corresponds to them according to the district to which they wish to return and complete a form with personal data: name, surname, DNI, patent of the car in which they will circulate, point of origin and destination.

The authorities of each place “will approve or reject the applications” of the stranded based on “the capacity of daily entry of each jurisdiction, in conditions of sanitary security, communicating the decision to the applicants.”
