The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Thursday that they are 115 people who died of coronavirus in Argentina, while the number of infected amounts to 2571.
In turn, the authorities reported that 631 patients who were infected recovered: 437 people received the final discharge, while 154 temporarily.
Regarding confirmed cases, 840 (32.8%) are imported; 903 (35.3%) correspond to close contacts of confirmed people; 425 (16.6%) belong to community circulation and the rest are under epidemiological investigation.
In the last 24 hours two women died, a 94-year-old resident in the City and another 76, who lived in the province of Buenos Aires. At the same time, 81-year-old man passed away, also from Buenos Aires.
Since the beginning of the outbreak, 26,457 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 583 samples per million inhabitants. Of that number, 20,645 cases were discarded by laboratory and by clinical / epidemiological criteria.
The main age groups affected are people between 20 and 59 years old, although the average number of infected is 44 years old. Of the total cases, 48.5% are women, while 51.5 percent are men.
