Through Resolution 260/2020, the creation of a fund called Develop, which will allocate a total of 30 million pesos to attend cultural spaces, and respond to the demands of the sector due to the impact that social isolation is having.

The announcement begin to on Monday and will last for a period of thirty days corridos, in which the interested institutions must submit their application to the Ministry of Cultural Development, under the Ministry of Culture
The process will consist of several instances – application, technical and formal review, evaluation and selection of beneficiaries, supporting documentation, sworn statements and financial performance of the granted benefit – after which the list of spaces that meet the requirements for access financial aid.
According to Resolution 260/2020, applications will be accepted from cultural spaces whose maximum capacity does not exceed 300 people and in which courses, workshops, classes, seminars and / or activities of an educational and / or formative nature related to any artistic discipline are habitually carried out; as well as spaces where there are presentations of live performances of performing arts (music, performance, dance, circus), and exhibitions or exhibitions of visual, design and audiovisual arts.
Cultural centers, live music clubs, theater, dance, circus, art and design spaces, peñas and milongas, as well as sites that carry out community and solidarity activities are also contemplated within the scope of the regulations.

This initiative is aimed at civil associations, foundations, cooperatives, mutuals, indigenous communities, territorially based organizations without legal status and networks of organizations linked to community culture.
