Coronavirus | Homemade chinstraps reached the statues of the City of Buenos Aires

Statues and monuments in the City of Buenos Aires woke up on Monday with homemade masks in tune with the provision of the Buenos Aires Government that requires them to be used as of Wednesday.

The order of the head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, was that the chinstraps be mandatory in commercial premises, customer service offices and urban passenger transport.

To encourage use, the Buenos Aires Government put masks on the statue of Mafalda and her friends, which are on Calle Defensa and Chile. Also, in the Emanuel Ginobili located on the Paseo de la Gloria in Costanera sur.

Also in the monument to the spanish in Avenida del LibertadorAmong other statues, they appeared wearing chinstraps so as not to clash with the new measure that will govern Buenos Aires territory.

The initiative deployed reached the statues of Isidoro, in Chile and Balcarce; Larguirucho y Súper Hijitus, in Balcarce and México; Clemente, in Defense and Belgrano; and those of the Paseo de la Gloria, Lezama Park, the Botanical Garden and Plaza Italia.
