Coronavirus deaths in Spain dropped to 301 in the last 24 hours


Deaths in 24 hours from coronavirus in Spain fell to 301 Tuesday, bringing the total death toll to 23,822, according to the bulletin of the Ministry of Health.

For its part, the total number of infected reaches 210,773, after a daily increase of 1,308 confirmed by PCR test.

The number of cured patients exceeds that of those diagnosed by PCR for the fifth consecutive day, as 1,673 people were discharged in the last 24 hours, adding a total of 102,548 recovered since the start of the pandemic.

This data confirmed the slowdown in daily deaths from the virus since the peak of infections in the country was exceeded in early April. The Spanish government plans to announce this Tuesday the plan to begin easing rigid confinement in mid-May of the population that has governed since March 14.
