The applause, like that of the other day, was also a sign of support for the doctors who work in hospitals with the infected to combat the disease.

Some used loudspeakers to replicate the slogan, while there were those who played music to cheer the demonstration amid the mandatory isolation that they have fulfilled for two days.

Others chose a particular way to join the request: they turned on and off the lights of their apartments and houses intermittently to accompany the slogan.

This Saturday, on the second day of the preventive and compulsory social isolation decreed by the Government, there are already more than 1,200 people detained for not complying with the measure. The figure exceeds the number of patients with coronavirus in Argentina.

Federal and provincial security forces across the country detained more than 1,200 people who broke the mandatory quarantine, including 44 young people who were participating in a picnic, six people who were returning in a bus from Brazil and wanted to deceive the police and three motorists running tails.
