Coronavirus | Aerolineas Argentinas will no longer carry out special cabotage flights with returnees from abroad


From this Sunday and by decision of the national government, Aerolíneas Argentinas it will not carry out any more special flights to different cities in the interior of the country in which it took the Argentines who arrived repatriated Ezeiza, after being stranded abroad by the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

A resolution of the Ministry of Transport had already canceled all cabotage services between March 19 and 31, and the National Civil Aviation Administration was instructed to “establish exceptions for reasons of a sanitary and / or humanitarian nature and / or necessary for the fulfillment of essential tasks in the framework of the decreed emergency.”

In this sense, Airlines had scheduled a daily flight between Buenos Aires and Córdoba, Iguazú, Mendoza, Neuquén, Río Gallegos, Tucumán and Ushuaia, as well as three weekly flights to Trelew and four to Comodoro Rivadavia.

However, now the Government has decided to cancel all these types of operations because “the movement of people must be reduced to a minimum, thus ensuring compliance with sanitary measures, “said company spokespersons.

Airlines contacted passengers to warn them of the cancellation of services and to avoid going to Aeroparque starting this Sunday, as there will be no operations.
