The Federal Administration of Public Revenue (Afip) enabled this Thursday the official site for companies to request complementary state assistance for the payment of wages in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.
Employers require the state assistance contemplated in the Emergency Assistance Program to Work and Production (ATP) for the payment of May wages in the framework of the health emergency, they have until May 21 to sign up with a fiscal code.
Afip clarified: “All companies must register, even those that had performed the procedure last month.”
Who can request it
The Evaluation and Monitoring Committee established the requirements to access the ATP days ago.
Companies must carry out one of the activities contemplated by the regulations and their turnover between April 2019 and April 2020 must register a variation of up to 5%.
According to Ámbito, for the companies that started their activities as of May 1, 2019, the Afip provided that the comparison in billing should be made against December 2019.
While companies born during 2020 that register in the program will directly access the benefit of the complementary salary.
