Airlines says all necessary flights will depart

The president of Aerolineas Argentinas, Pablo Ceriani, confirmed this Wednesday that the priority is to bring to the country “all the compatriots stranded abroad” and that “all the necessary flights will be scheduled for this”.

“We are going to program all the necessary flights to attend to all the problems,” Ceriani began affirming.

“The priority for us is to bring back to the country all the Argentines who are stranded abroad and the efforts are focused there,” added the head of Aerolineas Argentinas.

Ceriani spoke to Noticias Argentinas before the first special flight of the flag line departed to bring compatriots stranded abroad back to the country.

“We are going to bring the Argentines home, that is what the President of the Nation asked us to do,” said Ceriani before the first flight to Miami, United States, departs.

“I want to highlight the effort and commitment of Aerolineas employees because they are facing the problem,” he said.

In the morning, the first flight to rescue Argentines abroad, in this case Miami, left the Ezeiza International Airport.

This week two more flights will depart to that city in the United States, a place chosen by many Argentines.

Meanwhile, also this week two more flights to Madrid are confirmed, where there are hundreds of Argentines waiting to be rescued.

The president of the Airlines confirmed to NA that ten more flights are scheduled for next week.

Likewise, this weekend two or three flights will depart to Lima, which will be made with the aircraft normally used for domestic flights, which will not be used since Friday due to the restrictions decided by the national government.

Beyond the effort being made by the flag line, Ceriani clarified that “there are many Argentines” stranded abroad and asked for collaboration from the foreign lines.
