Aerolineas Argentinas canceled more international flights

Aerolineas Argentinas announced this Thursday new cancellations in its international operation, particularly destined for Rome, Madrid, New York, Orlando and Miami, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As reported by the company in a statement, The flights to Rome on March 31, April 17 and April 25, were canceled and added to those already scheduled in advance for March 12,16,18,19,22,26,28 and March 30 and 4,6,10,12,19 and April 26.

In all cases, the return flights of the following day are canceled.

As to flights to Madrid are canceled on March 18, 24 and 29 and their corresponding returns the following day, while flights to New York are canceled on March 25, April 5, 13 and 27, and their corresponding returns the next day.

Flights to Miami were also affected, since instead of the 2 usual operations between April 1 and 15, the day flight is canceled and the same will happen with flights on days 18, 19, 22, 23, 26 , April 29 and 30, which are added to those already scheduled in advance on March 18 and 26, while, in addition, the flight to Orlando on March 16 is canceled.

The cancellations are part of a dynamic adaptation of the operation by the company due to the increasing number of requests for cancellation or change in the reservations already issued, indicated the sources of Airlines.

The company has established a new 24-hour service channel through WhatsApp to serve only passengers with reservations to or from China, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Israel and the United States.

Passengers may contact +54 9 1149404798 and must specify their reservation code, destination and travel date in order to speed up service and efficiently resolve each request.

Aerolineas Argentinas offices abroad are working to serve all Argentines who wish to modify their reservations to return to the country.

On the other hand, the company reiterates that in terms of prevention, the company performs special cleaning of its aircraft every time the attention protocol for possible positive cases is activated.

These disinfections are carried out with special equipment and products, in accordance with the protocols established by the health authorities.

Likewise, all aircraft undergo a disinfection process, after each flight, which involves treatment with chemical products for aeronautical use and a wide spectrum.

Aerolineas Argentinas planes have an air conditioning system that has special high efficiency filters (HEPA) that allow frequent cabin air renewal, and that captures particles of different sizes, including viruses, reducing the probability of contagion.

Finally, the company specified that cabin crews will continue to deliver the affidavits according to the procedure established by Border Health.

The staff on board Aerolineas Argentinas will carry out the first survey based on the information provided on the form. Then, the statements will be submitted to the health authority so that it carries out the activation of the preventive protocols.
