The Argentine Institute of Social Responsibility and Sustainability (Iarse) reported that a new edition of the International Conference Iarse (Trust) will begin next week, thus reaching its tenth edition.
For the first time it will take place virtually: it will be spread over three meetings, on August 5, 12 and 19, through the Zoom platform.
“From Iarse we think of this conference divided into 3 (three) days and lasting two hours for each meeting. In each of them, we propose to look at the reality of the social responsibility of companies and organizations, from a particular perspective, ”the entity reported.
Although the Covid-19 pandemic prevents face-to-face encounters, for leaving this is not a problem but rather an opportunity.
“This year the Institute relies on the particularity that the virtual format proposes: to break with the space / time barriers and to be able to reach all the Spanish-speaking countries”, they pointed out from the Iarse.
To this end, a collaborative work platform was launched between fellow entities promoting social responsibility in Latin America and Spain, and a group of consultants that has emerged from them in recent years. This new space is called Platesur (Platform for Ethics, Sustainability and Social Responsibility).
The Iarse specified that this 10th edition will have exhibition panels and experiential learning spaces, from which the participants will learn to incorporate tools for the strategic and comprehensive planning of the sustainable management of their organizations; and tools for measuring the impacts derived from these efforts.
