The AFIP extends Profits and Personal Assets: until what date

The AFIP extended until August 31, 2020, inclusive, the deadline for the presentation of the informative affidavits corresponding to 2019

The Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) extended until August 31, 2020, inclusive, the deadline for the presentation of informative affidavits corresponding to Income and Personal Property taxes for the fiscal period 2019.

The General Resolution that will be published in the Official Gazette, aims to facilitate the compliance of taxpayers and the work of economic science professionals in the context of isolation, preventive and compulsory social.

The regulation raises from 1,500,000 to 2,000,000 pesos the income and income threshold from which taxpayers must submit the informative affidavits corresponding to Income and Personal Property taxes for the 2019 fiscal period.

The decision does not reach those who must present a determinative affidavit and enter the balance to be paid.

Earnings and Personal Assets

Meanwhile, the remaining maturities of Profits and Personal Assets remain the same. These are those who were already transferred from June to the end of July this year.

They will be, specifically, on July 24, 27 and 28 to make the affidavit, depending on whether you have a CUIT ending in 0, 1, 2 and 3 (24), 4, 5 and 6 (27) or 7, 8 and 9 (28). Payments must be paid on the 27th, 28th and 29th, respectively.

Earnings and Personal Assets: annual maturities begin

As for the financial income tax, both the filing and the payment are due on July 27, 28 and 29, according to the completion of the CUIT be in 0, 1, 2 and 3 (the 27), in 4, 5 and 6 (the 28th); at 7, 8 and 9 (the 29).

Miniplan Earnings and Personal Assets

The AFIP established that until August 31, inclusive, the category of the Risk Profile System will not be considered (SIPER) of each human person at the time of processing plans to regularize tax obligations to the Earnings and Personal Assets corresponding to the fiscal period 2019.

This exceptional measure guarantees, to all human persons who request it, the possibility of regularizing their tax obligations to the Earnings and Personal Assets in up to three installments without being conditioned by their risk profile, they point out from the AFIP.

The measure was made official through general resolution 4758 published this Monday:

Sebastián M. Domínguez, Partner of SDC Asesores Tributarios, told iProfessional that through General Resolution 4758, the AFIP ordered that human persons and undivided successions may pay, in all cases, the balance of their sworn statements of income tax and personal property with a payment on account of 25% and the remaining balance in three installments.

“We indicate in all cases because the AFIP has provided that, until August 31, 2020, the SIPER category will not be considered in which the taxpayer is framed, “added Domínguez.

Usually the SIPER category is the one that defines whether or not you can request the plan and, where appropriate, the maximum fees.

“This is a positive measure since many taxpayers have fallen into defaults that have made them downgrade,” said the expert.

However, beyond providing the maximum amount of fees possible, we understand that the AFIP should extend the maturities of the affidavits of the year 2019 Due to the problems that continue to generate social, preventive and compulsory isolation, but also the extension that will be dealt with in the National Congress.

The executive power has sent a draft amendment to the current moratorium, extending the accession period until October 31, 2020.

Consequently, there are taxpayers who will regularize the filing of affidavits of income tax and personal property for the 2018 periods back to October 31, but they are required to file the 2019 affidavits at the end of the month of the current month. We understand that the maturities of 2019 affidavits should be extended in line with the moratorium.“Domínguez points out.

“On the other hand, we have observed than there are monotributistas that are not being able to recategorize because they did not present the sworn statement 2018 Personal Property TaxBeing that they have time to do so until the end of the month considering the current expiration date of the moratorium or until October 31, 2020 if it is extended as it is understood to happen, “he said.

The recategorization expires next July 20 and The AFIP should eliminate the requirement to present the affidavits that can be regularized in the moratorium.

Otherwise monotributistas will be hurting, many of whom are in a crisis situation due to low or no turnover. and, accordingly, it should be re-categorized into a lower category.
