Fallen trees and flooded streets: the shocking images of the storm

The strong storm of wind and rain that affects several provinces of Argentina caused damage in dozens of towns.

In Capital, tree falls were reported in La Paternal, Chacabuco Park, Villa Crespo, Villa del Parque and Villa Urquiza, such as this specimen that was crossing Miller Street in 1900 and caused damage to cars and public lighting.

Earlier, the National Weather Service issued an alert for heavy rains and storms for Capital, the province of Buenos Aires, the south and east of Córdoba, Entre Ríos, the east of La Pampa and Santa Fe.

In Bahía Blanca, streets were flooded, tree branches fell, and power was cut off in several neighborhoods.

In Beccar, in the north of Buenos Aires, a neighbor showed how his banana tree was left by the storm. “He threw everything at me. My bananas, my bananas, so much that I took care of them,” lamented the man.

Meanwhile, Patricia, a neighbor from Ramallo, in the north of the province of Buenos Aires, showed how the rain fell in the patio of her house.

In Lonquimay, in the province of La Pampa, there was a heavy hail last night before the rain.

Claudia, a neighbor of Don Torcuato shared a photo of the tree that fell in the garden of her house.

José shared a photo of the tree that fell at the door of his house in Glew. And in his post he said that many years ago his grandfather had planted it.
