United States registered this Thursday 3,176 new deaths from coronavirus, an increase of almost 1,500 from the previous day, and brought the total in the country closer to 50,000. Specifically, the number of deaths amounts to 49,759, according to the latest update of the monitoring carried out by Johns Hopkins University.
The number of broadcasts, meanwhile, exceeds 866,000, an increase of more than 26,000 compared to the previous day. The country continues to record by far the largest number of deaths and transmissions globally. As for the first, it is close to doubling the 25,500 deaths reported in Italy as of the same day. While the second quadruples the more than 213,000 transmissions in Spain, which follows in the dismal list.
