The famous San Fermín festivities in Pamplona, ​​which attract thousands of tourists from all over the world every July, were suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, the city council of this northern Spanish city reported on Tuesday.

“There is no other option for parties as massive and international as the Sanfermines”, which take place from July 6 to 14 and which include the popular running of the bulls, bullfighting and runners on the streets, the city council of Pamplona said in a Press release. Local officials warned that “it seems complicated” that they could be postponed to another date this year.
