Neighborhood clubs and development societies will be exempt from the service cut

The National Government resolved that both neighborhood clubs like the development societies will remain exempt from service outages such as electric power, gas by networks, running water, fixed or mobile telephony, Internet and cable TV, due to the complications they face in the context of the pandemic of coronavirus.

Through the Resolution 173/2020 It was established that no service will be suspended, in the event of default or non-payment of up to three consecutive or alternate invoices, with maturities from March 1, 2020.

“Neighborhood clubs and development societies are playing a fundamental role during this crisis and from the National Government we are not going to leave them alone,” he said. Matías Lammens, Minister of Tourism and Sports, through his Twitter account.

This benefit is added to the measures already announced by the National Government in reference to sports clubs and federations, included in the Emergency Assistance Program for Work and Production, which contemplated the postponement or reduction of up to 95% of the payment of employer contributions to the Argentine Integrated Social Security System; and compensatory salary allocation for all workers in companies with up to 100 employees.
