Four buses from Chile with returnees crossed the border in Mendoza this Saturday, in the middle of the closing of the steps from one country to another because of the coronavirus.
Once in Argentina, and after performing the health checks corresponding, the passengers made the migratory procedures.
Members of the 27 Squadron Uspallata de Gendarmería Nacional carried out repatriation tasks of these citizens, who re-entered the country through the border crossing Los Libertadores – Cristo Redentor.
At around noon, the buses arrived at the intersection, where the Las Cuevas Group performed the obligatory sanitary control.
After overcoming it, the passengers returned to the vehicles and followed their different paths to be able to return home after a long time stranded on the other side of the Cordillera.
