Coronavirus in Argentina: there are 1133 cases, 256 recovered and 34 dead

The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Thursday that There are already 256 people who were infected with coronavirus in Argentina and recovered. Of the total, 226 were discharged temporarily, and 30 definitively.

The information was provided by the Secretary of Access to Health, Carla Vizzoti, which confirmed, in turn, that 34 people died in the country from Covid-19.

According to the party, in the last hours the death of a 73-year-old man who lived in Mendoza and another, 61, who received medical attention in Chaco was confirmed.

Until this Thursday, April 2, the number of infected in Argentina amounts to 1133, of which 57% correspond to men while 43 percent to women.

The main age groups affected by the virus correspond to people between 20 and 59 years old. In this sense, the average age of those infected is 45.

As for the people who lost their lives due to the pandemic, the average age is 68 years.

The authorities reported that these days some 72 people remain in intensive care and since the tests began in the country, 5146 cases were discarded.
