The seventh edition of this online shopping event is approaching, allowing you to take advantage of offers in the most varied categories

In May the seventh edition of the Hot Sale Argentina arrives, the online event that allows the user to buy through the internet and obtain a wide variety of discounts and special promotions.

OROrganized by the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CACE), this year it will take place on Monday 11, Tuesday 12 and Wednesday May 13 next, and can be accessed through the official Hot Sale site.

It is one of the most anticipated virtual sales actions in the country since it allows obtaining important benefits to acquire products and services, accessing through a computer or any mobile device.

As in previous years, this time you can access thousands of discounts that will be published exclusively on those dates and for a limited time. Some companies extend promotions until Sunday, May 17, which is the Day of Internte, in what is known as Hot Week.

There will be promotions in categories such as Clothing and Footwear; Food and drinks; Cosmetics and Beauty; Babies and Children; Furniture; Automotive; Home and Deco; and Electro and Tourism, among others.

As for the previous edition, according to CACE data, the number of users and transactions increased, which reaffirms a change of habit towards the massive adoption of the electronic channel.

Almost 3 million people went through the official site to, from there, drive to the category or brand that most interested them. So, performed more than 3.5 million operations that generated sales of $ 8,512 million, on the $ 6,170 million of the 2018 edition.

The ranking of the previous edition

The categories that sold the most in units were:

– Food and drinks.

– Footwear.

– Children’s and baby clothing and accessories.

– Home decoration.

– Clothing for adults.

– Construction materials.

The food and beverage sector has been one of the fastest growing since last year. Most of the supermarket chains already sell mass consumption online and, with the exception of Coto, all participate in the Hot Sale.

That this category leads the top in unit sales will be a constant from now on: it is explained that a cart includes many more products than when buying footwear or clothing.

To this is added that there were specific promotions from some companies that moved the ammeter more strongly at certain times. Such is the case of the wholesaler Diarco, who owns his online store in Mercado Libre, and who on Tuesday made an offer of sugar that resulted in a sale of 16 kilos per minute, according to company data.

When looking at the products that billed the most money, the list was like this:

– TVs.

– Footwear.

– Plane tickets abroad.

– Mobile phone equipment.

– Furniture.

– Tools.

That a large number of visits has also fallen on these segments responds to the fact that, indeed, consumers found prices that were convenient for them, with an advantage: it could be financed. And that possibility is highly valued today.
